Special thanks to the Brown family.

Hello all,

On behalf of the CSD Schools, I would like to thank Russell Brown for his generous donation of $2300 to go towards purchasing an adjustable outdoor basketball hoop for the students at Deer Isle-Stonington Elementary. The donation was made in memory of Joseph Brown. The School Board accepted the donation at their last meeting and we are in the process of ordering the equipment. Many thanks to Mr. Brown and the Brown family. 

I would also like to thank those parents and community members who raised additional funds for the project. While we continue to make facilities improvements through the course of the year, your efforts are greatly appreciated.
